want to succeed? Copy Slash……

I got Slash’s autobiography today and am already half way through it. The writing style is sometimes jarring but the story told is absolutely compelling.

No matter what industry you are working in, no matter what it is you want to achieve, you could do no better than to follow the example set by Slash, and the rest of Guns and Roses.

Tenacious and determined, pesistent and focussed, they never lost site of their goal. Slash practised and practised playing guitar until he mastered his intrument. He once spent days locating the right equipment and engineering the sound for the guitars on Appetite for Destruction.

Dedication to his goals was at the heart of everything he did. No better example of realising your dream …although obviously not the part about drugs and booze !!
